Artwork text:
Throughout the annals of time, the affectionate diminutive, the term for offspring named after a parent, and the diminishing insult have been a part of the global lexicon. In the domain of hip-hop, this article has been used broadly, to no clear linguistic end. Research of limited scope shows us that application is rather uneven when applied to its chief dimension, height. Savvy readers will note that Lil’ Kim is the actual, ah, well, “Lil’est”, clocking in at 4′ 10″.
